David Reuter

Vice President and General Manager of Underground Solutions

David Reuter, PE is Vice President & General Manager for Underground Solutions and is based out of our Poway, California office. He also handles all international sales for Underground Solutions. David received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas. He is a licensed professional engineer with extensive experience in the planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater infrastructure. Prior to joining Underground Solutions, he spent 12 years designing municipal infrastructure projects including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and treatment facilities.

Dan Christensen, P.E.

Vice President of Sales - Western Region

Dan Christensen, P.E., is VP of Sales for the Western Region and is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to joining UGSI, Dan worked as a civil design engineer for 7 years at Manhard Consulting and most recently at CESO, Inc.  Dan graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Civil Engineering and holds a PE in Civil Engineering.

John Kosiur

Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region

John Kosiur is Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region and is based out of Berkley, Michigan. John has 25 years of experience in underground construction and the municipal water industry. His construction background includes proficiency in both directional drilling and pipe bursting. He has worked in municipal waterworks sales for the last 7 years, most recently with Etna Supply, covering the southeastern Michigan market.

Chad Andrews

Alabama, Georgia & Florida Panhandle

Chad Andrews, P.E., is based out of Tallahassee, FL and covers Alabama, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle. Chad holds a B.S. and Masters in Environmental Engineering from the University of Georgia and is a professional engineer.  Prior to joining Underground Solutions, Chad was Research Staff Engineer for University of Georgia on a Green Roof Project collaborating with the EPA to approve chemical compounds for use on barrier membranes. He has also been an independent Water Resource Engineer and Consultant for a number surface water quality projects and lake management plans.

Damola Ashaye

South Texas

Damola Ashaye is based out of Houston, TX and responsible for the sales activity in South Texas He is a licensed professional engineer and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Before coming to work for Underground Solutions, Damola worked for Contech in the Houston area in consultative sales role.  Prior to that, he worked in the Chicago area as an engineering consultant with a focus on stormwater management and environmental remediation.

Steve Austin

Colorado, New Mexico & Nebraska

As Rocky Mountain Regional Sales Manager, Steve is responsible for all managing all UGSI sales activity in the states of Colorado, New Mexico and Nebraska.  Prior to joining UGSI, Steve was employed with GE Water where he was the North American Sales Manager for GE Analytical Instruments for seven years.  Prior to GE Steve worked at Walton LLC in Whitehouse, NJ selling analytical instrumentation lines to the power, water treatment and petroleum refining industries.  He also has experience working as a civil engineer (five years) and worked as a project manager in outsourced facilities management and maintenance at Vandenberg AFB in California for two years.  Steve holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Environmental Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines and holds an MBA from Regis University.  Steve is based in Broomfield, CO.

Sue Bazen

Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio & Western Pennsylvania

Sue Bazen is a Regional Sales Manager based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan and is responsible for sales activity in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania. Sue has worked in the construction industry for over 28 years, including as a partner in a horizontal directional drilling company for 13 years where the business focus was in the water and sewer market. Sue has also worked in municipal waterworks sales and the pipe industry for over 13 years, including a focus on trenchless products and the water, sewer, and utility markets.

Jason Bordewyk

Minnesota, Wisconsin, & Iowa

Jason K. Bordewyk, PE is the Regional Sales Manager covering Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Jason has worked within the water and wastewater industry since 2001. Prior to joining Underground Solutions, Jason worked with Stantec in Minnesota for over a decade and another consulting firm in Wisconsin prior to that. Jason’s engineering experience includes water and wastewater system planning, operations, design, and construction projects. He is a licensed engineer in Minnesota & Wisconsin and holds an Environmental Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University. Jason is based out of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.

Steve Donovan

Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Hawaii, and Guam

Steve is based out of the Northern California area and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Oregon. Steve offers a wealth of municipal and trenchless industry experience. Prior to joining UGS, he was a design-build engineer for The HDD Company and additionally has worked nearly 30 years as a municipal engineering consultant for HDR Engineering in Portland, Oregon and also started a branch for SHN Consulting Engineers and Geologists in Coos Bay, Oregon.  Steve holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Davis.

Nick Dross

Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, & Tennessee

Nick Dross, based out of Jacksonville, Florida, is a Regional Sales Engineer supporting Robert Tatum in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Nick holds a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Georgia with Natural Resource Management emphasis and has prior experience as an engineer for EnSafe, an environmental consulting firm where he specialized in NAVY contracting for NAVFAC Southeast, focusing on site work plans, remediation, environmental monitoring, monitoring well installation by direct push vertical drilling, soil excavations, underground storage tank removal, remediation system decommissioning, stormwater pollution prevention plans, spill plans, spill prevention plans, and spill response plans.

Brett Fornelli

Arizona, Southern California & Clark County, Nevada

Brett Fornelli is responsible for sales within Southern California, Arizona, and Clark County, NV.  Brett is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California, with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis.  Prior to joining UGSI, Brett spent 11+ years working for Vernon Tool Company, a manufacturer of industrial CNC pipe cutting equipment.  He progressed from Junior Engineer to Design Engineer to Project Engineer, and ultimately to Sales Engineer. 

Brett's experience includes a variety of engineering disciplines with focus on design, constructability, project management, and customer satisfaction.  Brett works out of the UGSI corporate office in Poway, CA.

Shawn Garcia

Arkansas, North Texas, & Oklahoma

Shawn Garcia is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is responsible for the management of sales in North Texas and Oklahoma.  Shawn has over 15 years of engineering and construction experience in the water and wastewater industry.  He received a Bachelor  of Science in Engineering from Texas Tech University.  Prior to joining Underground Solutions/Aegion, Shawn worked for Archer Western Construction as a Project Engineer  managing the construction of many major Water/Wastewater Construction Projects throughout North Texas.  For 12 plus years, Shawn worked for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as a Civil Engineer/Project Manager where he made significant contributions to the conception, development, design, and construction management of some of the City's largest water works and capital improvements projects.  Shawn is based out of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Rich Gardner

Illinois, Kansas, & Missouri

Rich is based out of Darien, Illinois, and manages sales activity for Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri. He is a veteran in the water industry, with more than 30 years of experience in providing technical solutions to his clients and customers. Rich can assist with your trenchless construction needs, but also has experience in supporting valves, hydrants, hot taps, smart meters, system management software, acoustical leak detection, and data analytics platforms for utilities. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industry & Technology from Northern Illinois University.

Patrick Laidlaw

Patrick Laidlaw is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Utah and holds a MS Degree in Environmental Engineering from Penn State and an MBA from University of Utah. Patrick has sales responsibility for the states of Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Prior to joining UGSI, he worked for 12 years in sales, marketing and engineering in the industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment industries. From 2003 to 2005 Patrick worked for USFilter/RJ Environmental as central regional manager covering more than 22 states. He has also worked for Eimco and Anderson Engineering.

Ed Lobello

Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Virginia & West Virginia

Ed Lobello is responsible for Sales in VA, WV, DC, MD, DE, NJ and Eastern PA.  He has 18 years of experience in consultative sales, business development, and product development in the civil engineering community.  Previously Ed served as Business Development Manager for Water Reclamation Solutions.  Additionally, he served as Sales Engineer and Plant Manager for Lane Enterprises, Inc. in the Mid Atlantic area.  Ed earned a Bachelor of Science Degree From Virginia Tech.

Pat Pierce

New England and New York

Pat Pierce is the Regional Sales Manager covering New England and New York. Pat has worked in a variety of industries throughout his 30-year career, holding roles that have encompassed product and process engineering, business development, and manufacturing operations. He has also held positions in quality control and assurance, technical service, and general business management. His focus is on total customer satisfaction for all of his past, present and future customers. Pat holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He will be based out of the Springfield, MA metro area.

Gregg Rivoir

National Power Market Manager

Gregg is based out of our Warrendale, PA facility and is the National Power Market Manager for Underground Solutions.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Engineering Management (concentration in electrical engineering), Gregg brings over 30 years of industrial and electrical business development experience.   Prior to joining Underground Solutions, Gregg served as Director of Sales & Marketing (US and Canada) for a large specialty pump manufacturer, with a niche focus on high pressure and long-distance pipeline transfer applications.

Robert Tatum

Florida

Robert Tatum is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and is responsible for Underground Solutions, Inc. sales in Central and Southeast Florida. Robert has over 22 years of engineering, sales and management experience in the water and wastewater industry. He received an MBA from Florida State University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. Prior to joining UGSI, Robert worked for Siemens Water Technologies as Senior Vice President of the Odor Control and Wastewater Treatment Systems Groups. During his 20+ years with Siemens Water Technologies (formally USFilter) he held various technical and sales management roles. Prior to joining Siemens Water Technologies, he worked as a process and product development engineer for Olin Corporation.

Karon Williams

Louisiana & Mississippi

Karon Williams, based out of Franklinton, Louisiana, is a Regional Sales Manager covering sales activity in Louisiana and Mississippi.  Karon holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and has prior experience working for HNTB in Baton Rouge, LA and for the St. Tammany Parish Government handling a wide variety of engineering and project management duties. Most recently he was in a business development/account management role for a firm that provides technical solutions for traffic control devices and systems.

Kyle Wroblewski

Arkansas, North Texas, & Oklahoma

Kyle Wroblewski, based out of Dallas, TX, works closely with Shawn Garcia as part of the North Texas / Oklahoma team.  Kyle graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has experience working for a consulting engineer (Kimley-Horn in Frisco, TX) and for Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association where he was a Regional Engineer promoting the use of PVC and providing engineering support. His most recent role was Technical Manager for S&B Technical Products, who manufacturers gaskets and restraint systems for the PVC pipe industry.
