United’s Tite Liner® and Safetyliner™ materials are manufactured according to our strict specifications and qualified procedures. Our requirements often exceed internationally recognized standards, ensuring that each Tite Liner® and Safetyliner™ installation is with the finest liner pipe available. United maintains a global footprint and liner pipes are manufactured at several qualified locations throughout the world.

Read below to learn more about some of material properties we use for our various lining systems.

Traditional Tite Liner® HDPE is manufactured with PE-4710. This material is ideal for moderate temperature service and a broad range of fluids and chemicals, including sour gas CO2. It can withstand temperatures up to 160°F (71°C) for pipelines carrying oil and 180°F (82°C) for those carrying water.

The Tite Liner® RT system uses a modified HDPE material specifically designed to provide an extended service life at elevated temperatures. It is designed to withstand temperatures up to 203°F (95°C).

Tite Liner® Enertube™ utilizes a specially formulated blend of polyolefins by Western Falcon. It is suitable for elevated temperatures in all services up to 210°F (99°C).

The Tite Liner® HC system utilizes a polyamide-12 material elevated temperatures ideal for hydrocardon and gas applications. It is designed to withstand temperatures up to 212°F (100°C).
