Over 600,000 LF of Fusible PVC® pipe has been installed throughout North Dakota in hundreds of potable water, wastewater and raw water pipeline projects since 2007. Fusible PVC® pipe has been used in sizes from 4-inch to 36-inch in a wide range of applications from force main to raw water intake piping. Fusible PVC® pipe has been used extensively in rural water applications and in urban areas. Applications have been diverse, ranging from a horizontal directional drill (HDD) of 3,900 LF under Devil’s Lake to pipe bursting of an aged cast iron pipe in Ray to sliplining a 24-inch force main in Grand Forks to miles of direct-bury pipelines for Western Area Water Supply Project and oil, energy and industrial clients in the Bakken formation. The versatility and effectiveness of the pipe system is demonstrated by the engineers, municipalities, and contractors who select the pipe on a repeat basis for projects.
