Bartow County is situated in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains located just north of Atlanta, along the banks of the Etowah River. The county boasts a population of over 100,000 and covers the largest land footprint in Georgia. This provides a unique challenge to the rural water utility established there in 1969.
