Since its introduction in California and Nevada in 2006, over 700 pipeline projects utilizing Fusible PVC® pipe systems have been completed throughout these neighboring states. Fusible PVC® pipe has been installed via horizontal directional drilling (HDD), sliplining, pipe bursting, jack & bore, microtunnel, pilot tube microtunnel and direct-bury installation. Municipalities have achieved significant savings while realizing the benefits of a leak-free, fully-restrained, fused PVC pipe system that is easy to maintain. Project pipe sizes have ranged from 4 to 36 inches in diameter with over 150 miles installed and in service across the two states.
